Feelin' Country
I lived in Biloxi, MS where I saw the most gorgeous sunsets, I danced in their glittery casinos and went to their crawfish festivals not as an outsider but as a fellow Biloxi resident.
I remember driving to my apartment and seeing the gulf coast, with the orange sun reflecting off of it and falling in love. I've been fourwheelin' in the country of Mississippi - where you can't see a house or condo or a person for as long as you can see. You just see land and more land. My love for country music grew down there.
I'll always love the Country Queens and how they melt heartache and happiness, southern curls, sweet tea, and pearls into gorgeous songs you want to listen to on a porch under the stars all night.
This is my tribute to them. I found this amazing shirt of etsy and stole my husband's bandana (okay, ok, I borrowed it, "stealing" sounded more country). In black leggings and my favorite black Bernie Mev shoes I felt like a Country Princess.
