A Red Dress in Spring
Red is a power color, a color that I believe looks great on everyone. I love this scalloped neckline dress from LuLu's. It's a great piece to wear during the transitioning months - whether it's between spring and summer or summer to fall. It's a lovely dress to twirl in, to sit and smooth the skirt and imagine you are waiting for your chariot. It makes me feel feminine and powerful!
Two days ago, I had the immense pleasure of meeting with Vanessa for this photoshoot. We met at Boothe Memorial Park in Stratford, CT. (For any other Nutmeggers out there - please check this gorgeous park out!). I was taken back by all the beauty that surrounded us. The iconic, tiny white chapel, the windmill, the cherry blossom trees and the path that led into a little garden filled my heart with magic and poetry. It was so serene. Vanessa and I had a great conversation while we were shooting this. I'm sad to see her move back home to Texas but I know with her talent and grace, the sky is the limit with her.
