Stevie Nicks Style and Inspiration
Stevie Nicks is one of my favorite musicians and part of the formidable Fleetwood Mac (which happens to be my favorite band). Stevie had that 70’s mysterious, alluring bohemian witchy allure that was sexy but never sexual. Her lyrics and music are woven with poetry and magic.
Listening to “Silver Springs” on repeat I would feel every lyric, every guitar pluck in my heart and in my head to the point it felt like reverberated. I felt that song, I still do, so deeply. Her whole music catalog is full of songs of love, loss, heartache, beauty and glamour. Stevie cultivated an image of a romantic rockstar shrouded in glittery scarves and mystery with suitcases full of lyrics written in loopy cursive and gorgeous mementos she found along the way. To me, her songs are those heartfelt dreams where the light is all faded and splotchy but you feel every part and you wake up ready to draw the curtains to embrace a pastel sunrise.
Stevie and Fleetwood have always been the background music of my life. I still remember hearing them and asking my mom about them at such a young age. It seems we often like the music our parents listened to whether we liked it or not at the time.
Stevie’s style is still interwoven in our modern fashion today. I love her glamorous, dark yet boho style. It evokes mystery and allure. Here are my favorite Stevie styles you can shop:
