Pearls and Plaid: CT Bloggers Sip & Shop

Pearls and Plaid is an elegant, cozy boutique tucked in the heart of Old Saybrook. They opened in 2014 and their mission was to mix northern prep with southern charm and I can say they execute it brilliantly and beautifully. I was born and raised in the North but lived in the South and can say they really mesh both the charm and elegance of each place.

I really loved their jewelry. They had mantra bands, layering necklaces, pom pom earrings. Their sweaters of dusty pink, olive green and classic grey were all so beautiful and well-made. Their staff is welcoming and knowledgeable. There was a delicious brunch laid out as fellow bloggers mingled and networked and admired and shopped Pearls and Plaid. 

The event was part of CT Bloggers collective which is run by the inspiring Nonee Ngazimbi of Nonee's World.  Her, Pearls and Plaid teamed up with Primose Party Planning & Design, Peony Design Company and Mar Floral  & Botanicals to make a chic, inviting and lovely shopping & networking events.
