Top Three Favorite Places to Hike: Shoreline, CT Edition

Shoreline Connecticut has a lot of great places to go hiking or if you're more like me - looking for a scenic walk to clear your head and also inspire you - there are some breathtaking places to go to! Here are my favorites:

Supply Pond, Branford CT

There is something so magical about seeing the colorful foliage of Autumn reflect back to you in a lake. Supply Pond is not only gorgeous (especially around Fall) but has great options for trails depending on how challenging of a hike you want to take. It's also a great dog-friendly place! I always see people with their dogs running around. It's a beautiful, well-taken care of place. Highly recommend.

Stony Creek Trolley Trails, Branford, CT

Stony Creek is one of my favorite places ever. It's a beautiful gem of ocean and warm vibes. The Trolley Trail is scenic and refreshing It's a great place to go to clear your thoughts and be surrounded by beautiful nature. It's also well maintained and well loved in the community. There's also benches to sit if you need to stop and relax.

East Rock, New Haven

Although East Rock is not as well maintained as the other two on my list, it's still a beautiful place to hike, run, walk, and explore. The view from the clifftop is amazing - you can see the New Haven city skyline - all the buildings, lights, and movement. East Rock has a number of hiking trails that traverse the ridge, most notably the Giant Steps Trail which ascends to the summit at a near-vertical pitch from the south.
