Meet Leigh & Her Pink Vintage Heart

Leigh Ray is a fun, funky vintage fashionista twirling and posing in some fabulous thrifted finds. Leigh also is the Owner and Editor of Pink Vintage Heart - a blog dedicated to vintage fashion, spirited and colorful travels and a fun, pink aesthetic. Leigh is behind the scenes editor of Retro Babe Land - a group dedicated to the vintage community. Along with Krystle DeSantos and I, we hope to support and uplift one another in the retro realm!  I got a chance to interview Leigh and I find her so lovely and inspiring! 

C: What got you into blogging and specifically vintage and vintage inspired blogging?

L: I initially wanted to launch a clothing brand and cool home goods and thought blogging would be a good way to create a buzz about my brand. But fell so in love with blogging that I lost focus on creating products and clothing. I focus on vintage because I absolutely love it!! Blogging about what you love is super important.

C: Who are your muses? Who are your favorite vintage and vintage inspired bloggers/Instagram accounts?

L: I  love A Fashion Nerd, Vintage Splendor and B Jones Style. Their style and girl boss ways inspire me so much.

C: What are some challenges you have found in the vintage blogging world?

Maybe not fitting into a modern brand's aesthetic when it comes to collabs and brand partnerships. But I really love working with vintage sellers and shops over large brands.

C: Where do you see your blog and brand in a year? 5 years?

L: I want to start an Etsy shop in a year. And in 5 years, I'd love to host more vintage shopping events and organize vintage pop ups.
