Marissa T Designs: Heartfelt & Handmade Jewelry

I’ve met some amazing people through blogging and instagram, one of them being a very talented artisan - Marissa. I'm a brand ambassador for her jewelry shop - Marissa T Designs. I love supporting and shopping small and handmade. She sent me a necklace handstamped with words and phrases on each side that mean a lot to me.

Grace is my middle name and also my grandmother’s name, my late grandmother’s middle name, my cousin’s name and a very popular name on both sides of my family. Also an amazing virtue.

Pauline is the name of my late grandmother. She passed when I was young but I feel we had a special connection. She was so warm & elegant to me and very much why I love the feminine, vintage aesthetic. She used to take time to show me her beloved Madame Alexander dolls and tell me stories behind each doll. My grandmother had pretty curls and porcelain skin.

Take it easy is a song by the Eagles that soothes my anxiety. “Don’t let the sound of your own wheels drive you crazy” speaks to me when a panic attack hits. I feel instantly relaxed.

And grateful. I’m grateful for all the amazing people I met, my new place, all the lessons I learned, the creative and gorgeous spirits I met through blogging and even this necklace. My first collaboration with Marissa is here on the blog!
