Carole Lombard is my favorite Golden Hollywood actress. Sure, she was glamorous as all get out, but she was hilarious and talented and down to earth. She had sex appeal but it wasn’t overt - it was elegant. She had piercing blue eyes and kept her blonde hair in soft waves and parted to the side. Her eyebrows were thin and arched to draw attention to those pool blue eyes. She always wore clothing with a streamlined silhouette and wore glamorous accessories to add elegance to even the most basic outfits. She could do menswear with girlish charm and a sexy gown with sweetness.

She was a talented actress, a favorite amongst Hollywood, married to the dashing Clark Gable and her humor and glamour live on today. Carole died tragically at the age off 33 in a plane crash. They say Clark Gable never really got over her sudden death.
