Retro Work Attire

I work in property management, and wearing delicate vintage pieces can be quite tricky as I navigate the elements and walk  up and down many flights of stairs many, many times a day. I often opt for vintage inspired work clothing that aren't so dainty and delicate but still have a retro twist that reflects my style. I picked some of my favorite retro work gear. Some pieces are stand alone stunners and some are slinky basics that can be highlighted with a vintage touch by a simple thrifted brooch or Old Hollywood inspired hair.

I love this Navy bell sleeve dress (which comes in two other colors: camel and red). With the statement sleeves and mock neck it's pairs professionalism with style. I'd clip in one of my favorite brooches and keep the rest simple. For winter - black leggings and work appropriate booties. Summer - I'd pair it with silver kitten heels and wear my hair to the side ala Veronica Lake. 

This darling Hepburn Swing dress is feminine and lovely and will surely turn heads in an office with it's floral, sweet beauty. 

I just adore this comfortable and classic red and white polka dot dress. It's retro sweet! I also love wearing red to work - it's a power color!
