Aug 27 Boho Style Icons & Boho Fall Looks

Every season, I visualize what kind of aesthetic I'll have. I love doing this because it's a fresh start to a new season. I have been loving the layered, boho look lately. I searched my favorite Boho Chic icons and I got to tell you - I've always loved Karen from Californication's style. Skinny scarves, perfectly messy hair, gorgeous maxi dresses - it was such a sunny, California style that was beautiful and funky.

Kate Hudson's portrayal of Penny Lane was not only amazing but really cemented her as a boho fashion icon at an early age. I really love Penny Lane's style and the actress who portrays her. I love that rock n' roll free spirit, beautiful look. In my collage I also added Raquel Welch in all her loveliness wearing a gorgeous frock and two images I found on pinterest. The layered, cozy, and lovely look. It's not always about layering though. I thought back to my photoshoot with Mark Johnson and how accent pieces really transform an outfit. Fringe booties, an embroidered skirt and a turquoise statement necklace brought me boho vibes!

This Fleur Du Jour Mini Dress by Free People is bohemian for sure - but also incredibly cute! I love how casual it is but still pretty. This is a great stand alone dress but perfect for layering if you live in a place that'll be approaching Fall soon :) It also comes in white and red and I think each color gives off a completely new and fresh vibe.

This pretty, mosaic top is perfect for a day outing or throw on a black blazer and dress it up. It has that slouchy, relaxed style that is perfect for the boho babe look.

This patterned skirt is perfect to dress up or down. Pair it with a slouchy boho blouse and you have a sexy and free spirited look.

This handcrocheted duster is just everything. Dusters really are a Boho staple and make an ordinary outfit look that much more cooler. I love pieces like that can transform an ordinary outfit into a beautiful, unique style.
