Powder Blues and Pale Pinks

Finally, today in coastal Connecticut, it felt like Spring. It's been overcast and rainy and we had a prolonged (although, not very severe) winter. I like the warm sunshine on my shoulders and the beauty and excitement of another chapter - another season.

I've grown so tired of my black pants and leggings, riding boots, heavy coats and layers of scarves. I'm ready for light colors and sundresses. Shopping for the new season I always focus on an aesthetic I've cultivated through the past season. For Spring, I wanted to find pieces that were feminine and dreamy but practical enough to wear to work. 

I often want the more whimsical pieces but I tried to narrow that desire down and go for pieces that work in multiple settings. I found so much beauty already in an eclectic mishmash of online boutique and mall stores.
