A New Chapter

My blog, previously on blogspot, served its purpose for five years. It was a great place to write about my life and all my interests in a user-friendly way without the commitment of an actual web domain. Over time, I perused the internet about domain names. I wanted The Heart of a Flower to blossom and become official. Finally, I took the plunge and decided to go for it.

It brings me joy to see a hobby become a creative powerful outlet for me. I've also connected with some amazing like-mind bloggers, artisans, models, designers and photographers. Getting to know each person I've learned that their passion for their craft has taken them down amazing avenues.

That's why The Heart of a Flower has evolved over the years. It's blossomed over the years, each petal opening up to the sun and revealing new chapters, and new roads and new stories.

I am also focusing on finishing my first novel and also a short story book.

It can be hard at times with a full time job and a busy personal life to stay on track with my writing and blogging, but I take this as a new adventure, as a drive down a beautiful tree-lined avenue, a trip to a secret garden. I'm excited for this new chapter.

In the mean time, I will still have my series "Twirling Around Town", along with life stories, home decor and more of a focus on style, beauty and fashion than I had before.  I will be transferring some of my blog posts over to here and also leaving some behind. I hope this becomes a better extension of who I am, now.
