Caffienate and Conquer & Conspiracy Bar: Delicious History
Thursday night in the glittering heart of Middletown, a Blogger's Collective, Caffienate and Conquer hosted an influencer event at Conspiracy Bar. Caffienate and Conquer is hosted by the lovely Kallie Branciforte .
Conspiracy is a new, craft cocktail bar. It’s like an exclusive club on top of the heart of Middletown with Pre-Prohibition cocktails and artisanal culinary delights. I loved how they mixed history with alcohol while teaching us new cocktails. It was also great meeting local CT bloggers among the gorgeous aesthetics Conspiracy serves up in a vintage, almost industrial twist. There was also Alycia from the incredibly popular CTEatsOut to give tips and tricks on food photography and Instagram. I loved the relaxed yet unique atmosphere and decor as I got to know some wonderful lady bloggers. I also got a great goodie bag full of local goodies! I thought the night was a perfect mix of mingling, cocktails and history.
Any time I hear or see the word Prohibition I see a glamorized short film of flappers and gangsters and moonshine and gin soaked jazz but I know there's so much more to it than that. It got me researching some fun Pre-Prohibition cocktails to try out!;
