Swimsuits in September

The first day of Fall truly felt like a continuation of summer. Warm days full of sunlight, wind chimes and easy breezes. I loved doing this photo shoot with Mark Johnson. I wanted to showcase this vintage inspired bikini from Venus. It was shades of Marilyn Monroe. I threw on leggings and a comfy dress shirt from Target. I loved how the dress shirt worked with the bikini. It was an effortless look.

I love those timeless styles, like a white bikini or a striped dress shirt. I love September days that allow me to enjoy being by the ocean. This summer I've been either moving or working and it was nice to have a day where I could channel the vintage glamour of Marilyn and also enjoy the relaxation of beach at sunrise.

It made me realize how I need to enjoy more sunrises and sunsets, more beaches, more of the beauty around me. I felt at ease. I felt confident. My resolution is to go more places, see more stuff, enjoy the great world we have.
